Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. It doesn’t have the stress associated with Christmas, no gift-guilt, no decorating, hardly any drama (unless you count the football games!). Thanksgiving really gives focus to family and a good shared meal. I was happy to be producing for Button Productions for not one, but two Thanksgiving projects for Williams-Sonoma.

The image above was shot in studio in San Francisco, in Williams-Sonoma’s hometown. It was five days of tasty holiday treats, much of which I’ll profile in less than a month!
The other project I was a part of was called “Friendsgiving”, a fun photo & video collaboration between Williams-Sonoma and stylist/photographer Karen Mordechai. It was shot at Sunday Suppers, a communal cooking center in Brooklyn, NY. Featured was Williams-Sonoma’s Open Kitchen line which sells affordable dinnerware, flatware, cooks tools, etc. Karen (also the owner of Sunday Suppers) and her friends were featured this the spread. And further celebrating Friendsgiving, be sure to check out Karen’s cookbook Sunday Suppers: Recipes + Gatherings, which “celebrates the magic of gathering, bringing together friends and strangers to connect over the acts of cooking and sharing meals.” Purchase the cookbook
